The SPH has quickly become one of the highlights of the time we get to spend on Bribie. I often scoff when someone tries to tell me a place really “has something for everyone” – the SPH makes me eat my words.
From one of the best steaks I’ve had in Queensland, to brilliant kids meals, and from cocktails to the wide range of tap beers the SPH really does have you covered.
As for keeping the troops entertained, the SPH has everything from some of my personal favourites like The Whitlams, to acts I’d happily never see again like The Wiggles (sadly the kids still insist, despite my attempts to educate them).
There’s a fantastic outdoor play area, as well as a big screen projector room and some Playstations to keep the kids out of your hair for a few hours. If that’s not enough, it’s right on the water on a massive green acreage beside Pumicestone Passage…. I’d be very surprised if you can’t find something to do between drinks or meals….
