Dugong Crescent is fitted with an advanced, online alarm system. this is to protect the property while unoccupied, and also to give our guests some extra peace of mind when they leave the house to enjoy Bribie Island’s many attractions.
When you first arrive and call us to check in, if we are not there in person, we will activate a 4 digit code for you to use for the duration of your stay. The code will be saved for you (but deactivated) for subsequent visits should you decide to return. To make life easier you will also find between 1 and 3 remote keyless entry fobs.
Operation of these is quite straightforward. You simply use the lock and unlock buttons to arm and disarm the alarm, and the “1” (single dot) button to open and close the garage door. Please ensure the garage door is closed before arming the system as the movement of the door will set the alarm off.
You can also use the panel inside the front door to arm and disarm the system.
Simply tap the screen to bring up the controls.
Tap “Arm/Disarm”
If arming, on the next screen select “Arm” and the system will start beeping to allow you one minute to exit and lock the door.
If disarming, you will need to enter you code and tap the green “tick” button on the lower right side of the number pad to finish disarming. We strongly recommend using your access keys to avoid confusion and possible false alarms.
